The list of the winners at the 2021 London Global Gaming Awards is finally out. This time, RedTiger, Evolution’s brand, fought off cut-throat competition to scoop the prestigious Casino Product of the Year award. As expected, the recognition came as a result of the revamped Gonzo’s Quest Megaways.
After a lengthy and tiring voting process, the Global Gaming Awards judges crowned Red Tiger’s Gonzo’s Quest Megaways the Casino Product of the Year. That is despite being stuck up against tens of other successful online slots.
Note that the original Gonzo’s Quest online slot was launched in 2010. Since then, the game has gone on to be a hit at the best mobile casinos worldwide.
Apart from the Megaways transformation, this game was also revamped by Evolution (Red Tiger and NetEnt’s parent company) in 2021. In Gonzo’s Quest Treasure Hunt, Evolution includes a live dealer feature and the game-changing VR mode.
Speaking after collecting the accolade on behalf of Red Tiger, Evolution’s Commercial Director, Gavin Hamilton, said that online casino players worldwide consider Gonzo’s Quest Megaways a winner. As such, the company is delighted that the panel of judges has confirmed this assentation.
Also, Mr. Hamilton took the time to thank the hard-working teams at Red Tiger and NetEnt and dedicate this award to them. He also had the opportunity to thank BTG (Big Time Gaming), the inventors of the industry-popular Megaways mechanic.
Surprisingly, Red Tiger brought home two awards at the competitive 2021 EGR B2B Awards. First, the software developer beat off competition from other 13 suppliers to win the Mobile Supplier category. The judges decided that Red Tiger was the company to beat in the mobile casino industry.
In addition to that, NetEnt and Red Tiger jointly won the Innovation in Slot Provision category after warding off competition from 13 developers. As expected, the award recognized the collaborative effort by the two brands in Gonzo’s Quest Megaways.
On the other hand, Evolution, the parent company of the two brands, won the Live Casino Supplier category. That’s no surprise considering Evolution is the winner of this category for 12 consecutive years. Impressive!
Accepting the awards, Evolution’s Director of Product, Fredrik Bjurle, said it’s a great honor for Evolution brands to win in multiple award categories. He noted that Red Tiger’s philosophy has always centered around efficiency, creativity, and productivity.
Bjurle added that the company is looking to build momentum based on these recognitions. He said that the next few months would see all Evolution brands, including BTG, get a one-stop-shop from the group’s brilliant minds.
This year is undoubtedly a successful one for Red Tiger by all indications. First, on August 5, 2021, Red Tiger announced a brand-new partnership with Lottomatica, a popular bookmaker and online casino in Italy.
The deal will see Lottomatica fans enjoy titles such as the award-winning Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Mystery Reels, Dragon’s luck, and Dragon’s Fire Megaways. Players will also win big at the supplier’s daily and progressive jackpot networks.
Earlier on May 21, 2021, Red Tiger made its debut in Pennsylvania via Borgata Casino and BetMGM. Players at these casinos will play blockbuster titles such as Wings of Ra, Cash Volt, Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, among many.
The next day, Red Tiger inked a deal with Rank Group’s YoCasino, a famous Spanish online casino. Currently, YoCasino players access high-paying Red Tiger hourly jackpots and its entire portfolio of online slots.
Overall, Red Tiger and Evolution Group, in general, are flying high at the moment. But can the brands maintain this impressive momentum for the long haul? Time will tell!
